{and on that farm they had a...}

Went to the Penfield Wickham farms and had a blast!  We went there last year around this time and Lily was just 9 months and she couldn't really do anything.  This time she wanted to do everything and loved it. They had a big bouncy pillow thing that was almost too much fun. And I had to literally drag her away from the goats.  They were out of the goat feed so she decided to try to feed them dry grass instead.  They fell for it for about... oh the first 20 times, and then said enough is enough and walked away.  And I think she wanted to move into the three little pigs house.  At least she choose the one made of bricks, I knew she was smart :).

trying to relive my glory days :)

Going to the zoo, zoo, zoo

(how but you, you, you Raffi... anyone?)
Friday is now family day at the Peery house.  Adam has started a very busy semester, has two different clinicals and is also working on the weekends. Therefore we basically only have one day where we can go do anything as a family.  Half of this family day was spent going to the dentist (boo), but the first part we all went to the rochester zoo together. Lily tried to have lengthy conversations with all the monkeys and wanted the wolves to get out of the cage and come play with her. I think it is so much more fun to go to places like this with kids and see it through their eyes.

Roaring at the tiger, he was scared I'm sure.
Roaring in daddy's ear

Somebody sweet talked daddy into buying her a giraffe

such a look of wonder.  (watching the seals swim by, one is named lily)
plays with daddy's ears the whole time she is on his back, hehe

the {411}

(Lily @ 20 months)

1. loves to sing.... but only at very high volume levels.
2. could watch Tangled everyday, maybe more than once a day if I would let her. I defenintaly have all those songs memorized.
3. is literally filled with energy.  sometimes she just can't contain it and she runs around the house yelling "weee, weeeee, weeeeeeee!" while dancing, spinning and bouncing off the walls simultaneously.
4."momma colah?.....peese?" (momma color please) is heard very frequently in this house hold.
5. first bee sting :(. of course it happened to be on her right hand which hindered her ability to do her two favorite things: eat (she LOVES using  forks and spoons), and color. It was almost too much to handle.

{apple of my eye}

Adam and I went to Brown's Berry Patch today to go apple picking.  Lily thought it was the best game ever!  Choose an apple, pull it off the tree (which actually took a little muscle), try to get a little sample taste, and then throw it in the bag. It was super cute to see how excited she was. Even though I had to stop her from trying to take a big bite out of every one. Can't blame her, they were really good apples. And a lot cheaper than the ones you get at the grocery store. We can't wait to go back again this fall and get our pumpkins.
