can't catch me I'm {the Gingerbread Man}

Look at those little sneaky hands about to get some sprinkles
that looks like the yummiest concoction I have ever seen!
my gingerbread woman
we had to test a lot of the ingredients to make sure they were okay :)

{cousinly love}

Adam's family is in visiting for Christmas and Lily's cousin Rowan came.  She thinks Rowan is hilarious and wants to do everything she does.  Lily loves giving Rowan lots and lots of hugs (I don't have any pictures of this because I never seem to have my camera at the right time).  Aunt Mandy (Adam's sister) bought them matching dresses and they wore them when we went to the Indoor Sandbox.  Which is an affordable place here in Rochester for kids to go and play when it is cold outside.  Rowan said today that she wishes we could all live together and always be together because she loves us too much for us to be so far away.  And that even though her and Lily are cousins she thinks they are more like sisters.  Little sweetheart!  I know Lily will miss her when she goes home too.

this is her new favorite face that she does at least 50 times a day.  Head back cheesy smile.
lil' stinker

sweet cousins :)  Lily is getting her bottom canines already so she has been chewing on her fingers a lot.
not so sure about the puppet show
it's just Rowan!
crushing stereotypes by loving the dinosaurs more than anything else.

light dodge ball
Rowan gave it serious concentration
Lily..... not so much

{Christmas morning}

So Lily's 2nd Christmas morning has come and gone.   She was a lot more excited and animated this Christmas than last year.  Although considering she was asleep the whole morning last year I guess that's not really saying much.   Lily made out pretty well this year.  She got a ton of pj's and outfits for the next few seasons (which is good because my sister and I can't exchange kid clothes anymore because shipping from Thailand is a bit pricey).   And of course she got more toys and books.   I had to buy a new storage container and pack away some of her old toys just to make room for her new ones. And we still have Christmas with Adam's family to go.   Some items that are currently at the top of her list are her new baby doll, music player, and her Weebles.   Lily's top favorite thing probably has to be the Weebles though.  They are so simple,  I have no idea why she is so fascinated with them.... but I like that they make her happy.  Our little family had a wonderful Christmas together relaxing, watching white christmas, spending some time with friends, and having dinner at a Thai restaurant (you can always count on places with Asian food to be open on Christmas).  I hope that you all had as wonderful of a Christmas as we did and took time to remember the reason for this day.

"6 For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince Of Peace. 7 Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his Kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with Judgment and with Justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this" (Isaiah 9:6-7).

last year in her christmas hat (with Aunt LeAnna)
....and this year hehe, I could barely get it to stay on.  It kept popping off her head.

Her Christmas breakfast consisted of yogurt, raisons, and cinnamon rolls... yeah this girl can eat.

hugging the Weeble :)
She was scared of this little singing bear at first, but it grew on her.
